Dr. Aminu Hayatu

Since 2010 I have been researching in the area of Nigerian national politics with specific interest in religion & identity politics as well as corruption; by 2015, I ventured into the area of research and methodology in Strategic & Security studies. I'm currently engaged in different researches using multi & interdisciplinary approach to explore the area of environmental governance. Other areas of interest to me are study of group politics, subaltern & queer studies, [un]governed spaces & security, CSO & CBOs in the context of societal & community governance & development. I hope to expand my research horizon & networks to cut across my indeginous northern enclave & national boundary in order to interact with international scholars so as to be constantly exposed to cutting edge ideas in the field of social science & beyond.
