Olubunmi O. Ashaolu teaches French/ Francophone literature and Critical theory at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. Her research publication centers on Postcolonial Studies with inclinations to Gender, Environment and Contemporary issues in Senegalese and Congolese novels and film. Her critical work on African literature and cinema have appeared in reputable journals and books in the US, UK, Africa, and South America. She is a language consultant to the American Council of Teachers of Foreign Languages (ACTFL), New York.
