Ayomide is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology, Faculty of the Social Sciences, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She won the Best Graduate Paper award for the 5th Lagos Studies Association (LSA) Conference, Lagos, Nigeria (2021). In 2018, Ayomide was nominated for two unused awards, namely, the Fieldwork Grants for MSc Dissertation by Embassy of France in Nigeria and French Institute for Research in Africa (IFRA) and the Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme, Lagos State Government, Nigeria. Her research interests include sociology of development and social transformations, informality and governance of non-governmental organisations, childhood and vulnerability, and community development
